13 COLOR SCREENPRINT!!!

CLOSEUP DETAIL

After working with the world famous burlesque team on my obama print, we are teaming up again once more like wondertwins, to produce my most ambitious print to date ,
EXODUS FROM THE LAND OF PLAY
in the land of play ,the sky’s rain fried cheese bread, there is non-stop fun and unlimited freedom, children are encouraged to commit acts of vandalism, fight, drink beer out of unicorn horns, smoke cigars that turn into bubblicious, and gamble and never lose, nuns show you their shaved vaginas and preach, up all night , sleep all day, where everyone plays and never works, where a kid can be a kid, and also where a man can also behave like a kid, do what you want, whenever you want there’s no responsibilities, no cops, no rules, no repercussions, and no consequences to any of your actions, but all good things must come to an end, I won’t tell you what happened, but everyone has to leave immediately, get the fuck out now! So Our heroine and androgynous vamp, donning royal robes and axl rose gear , leads a parade of donkey eared miscreants and ne’er –do wells armed with customized super soakers filled with gummy worm juice and milk from coco crispies(I won’t name them all , but Darth Nihilus, razorback, and Beta ray Bill are up in the mix), out of Cockaigne, maybe to wander the earth forever?
This print will be a whopping 13 color screen print, on Rising Stonehenge 250gsm, it's 100% cotton, the Image size will be : 28x23.75. and the Finished print size: 33x30 (the original is 5 feet by 6 feet and every tiny detail has been captured), THERE WILL ONLY BE 76 copies of this print made, many have already been reserved for friends and family, so be warned , if you sleep on this one, don’t bitch to me later, I’m flying to Minnesota in December to inspect, sign and maybe draw or paint on some or all of these prints. $909? Someone hasn't been reading the news or following the economy...
Awesome awe-inspiring print. The price is a steal for this masterpiece, and I'm sure those who love it will pick this one up quick and easy.
thanks Choe-dog.
Now I have the slickest windows desktop wallpaper ever, for the low price of FREE.
Saw this piece at the New York show, it's one of your most impressive and imaginative works yet. I also touched it.
"THERE WILL ONLY BE 76 copies of this print made"... oh, ok, sure, sure, Dave. If only you had done right and NOT reprinted Soundeyes, after that, who can you trust? There's a reason the David Choe print market is worse than the stock market.
whoa shit... can't leave my mouth shut.
what happened to jimmy? where'd the other choe bro go?
hello,
i'm french and i just came to discover you, I love your arts
I'm 15 yearsold and I draw. I'd like to know what you think of my drawings, you can see my drawings on my blog: http://gasp-drawing.blogspot.com/
thanks
(scuse for my english)
your 15 minutes, or maybe it was 20 minutes, of fame is coming to an end. You'll be lucky to find 10 suckers to buy this print.
HAHA fuck the haters!
But, is it art?
Hell yes.
because it speaks to an issue which choe has explained as one of his greatest personal struggles, i'd say yes it's art. how do you qualify art Hirst? there's art for the sake of the title and then there's art in truth. only one can help you to live.
I can't even see what's good anymore.
This print became an 18 color screen print with hand embellishments on all of them. This is a set edition. There are no plans to reprint it. But for the record, in the world of print making, as long as you change the image enough to separate it from the edition before, another edition is ok. Change the size, the colors, etc.
It doesn't matter how much you worked on them; it matters how much you can get for them.
can somebody explain the process of pulling 13 color separations from a painting like this? i can't figure out how you mask out each color when they're all mixed together.
does it require hand masking/re-drawing? is it more of a photographic/chemical process?
I use a lot of colors, not just black.
